Join us in Emerald Isle for some of the most wonderful chamber music for viola, clarinet, and piano. Mozart's joyful, witty, and elegant "Kegelstatt" trio is named for a type of duckpin bowling and was composed by Mozart to be played by himself on viola and by his friend Anton Stadler on clarinet. You will hear us explore this "game" of a piece and experience the genius of Mozart in his most fun and lighthearted flavor.

Rebecca Clarke was a British composer and virtuoso violist. In her work Prelude, Allegro, and Pastorale for clarinet and viola, she creates an amazingly lush and imaginative soundscape.

The second half of the program will offer the rare chance to hear all eight of Max Bruch's pieces for Clarinet, Viola, and Piano, Opus 83. These explore a range of characters, from excitement and playfulness to sorrow and nostalgia.
